Creativity builds confidence and connection unlocking learning and improving wellbeing
Welcome to my studio where your child is valued and nurtured as their creativity is encouraged and supported. We understand the importance of connection and individuality, so when you step into my visual art studio, your child’s unique ways of learning, interests and personalities are fostered.
Each child and young person will thrive in a small group, well resourced and aesthetically inspiring studio learning environment. Their individuality and approaches to creativity are fostered.
We believe every child is capable and deserve learning and living environments full of wonder, inspiration and creativity. This is why we provide programs to nurture 3-5 year old children and mentor their parents/carers, small group and individual art classes for ages 6 to teen and a creative wellbeing program for adults.

Growing Relationships through Creative Play
For carers / parents and their children aged 3-5 years.
We believe that all parents and caregivers are children’s best and most influential teachers. From birth, children seek connection and nurturing from those closest to them.
As children’s first teachers we aim to give children the best we can offer, and at Creative Relationships, we aim to enhance and nurture these relationships.
You will learn how important creative learning experiences are to your children’s growth and development, along with parenting tips and a host of fabulous nature-inspired, visual arts activities.
Not only that you will receive free resources and online sessions.
Held in various locations across the City of Onkaparinga. Funded through AnglicareSA.
Beginner and intermediate art classes
For children aged 6 and up.
We believe that children are born with the ability to create connections with their world, and that each child has a unique voice and means of expression.
Through fostering their individual strengths and building skills to express their ideas we empower children.
Small group sessions for children and young people of all ages and abilities (NDIS clients included) will inspire the young artist in every child.

Arts educator and artist…
Artistic Claire art classes and Creative Relationships are led by artist and educator, Claire Kennett along with a small, experienced and enthusiastic team.
With professional qualifications and experience in both Early Years Education and Visual Arts, Claire’s art practice is a way of seeing life, a means of self-care, reflection and healing.
Inspired by natural bushland and the beach nothing makes nurtures Claire’s soul like art created in and inspired by nature. As a mixed media artist Claire engages with a wide range of media. Curious and experimental about how mediums interact and combine to create stunning visual artworks, Claire brings a sense of wonder into her artworks and art teaching.
“I share the essence of wonder and connection with nature through artworks featuring native flora, birds and elements, created with natural eco dyes I distill from plants, wild clays and earth pigments, combined with mixed media. I make jewellery and mosaic, play with textiles and love exploring techniques”
Claire’s artworks and teaching practices explore the social context in which we live and the long history of those who have lived here before, reflecting a deep respect for the natural environment and Aboriginal people as the First People.
Mixed Media
A combination of acrylics, drawing materials, oil paints, textiles, papers and found objects.
Relief
Hand cut relief prints, inked and printed to create embellished artworks, cards and wrapping paper.
Mosaic
Composed of collected, reclaimed leadlight glass, crockery and ceramic and glass tiles.
Jewellery
My metal smithing and lapidary is inspired by my Dad’s passion to cut and set collected gemstones.
